It’s been a fun, busy weekend! I managed to snag this pic of the two cookie cakes I made for the church welcome back picnic today. 🥳Thankful they both made it to the picnic in one piece this year. 🤪Also thankful the buttercream came together. Making and piping buttercream when your A/C dies in August is not for the faint of heart! 🥵 Looking for another season of new mercies and fun with our church family!

I’ve been quiet over here because frankly social media is not my strength. 🙃 Probably not the best business approach but 🤷🏾‍♀️ I’ll figure it out. In the meantime I’m doing what I do. 👩🏾‍🍳 Behind the scenes of today’s late night dough slinging session for my second workout of the day. 😅 More updates to come on some fun orders I’ve completed lately! Allow me to introduce you to the newest member of the Vine & Branches lineup: the GF Browned Butter Toffee Chip Cookie! 🤤 Trust me when I tell you this is the most delicious cookie I have made so far. The hold these cookies have on our family right now is dangerous. My husband said I could stop making every other type of cookie and just sell these. 🤣😍 The combination of homemade toffee, flaky sea salt, and nutty notes of browned butter is fire! 🔥 You gotta try it! Run, don’t walk to Harvest Moon Homestead and Weathertree Farm this weekend to snag one (or two, or three). I have a feeling these will go fast!

I really, really tried to ignore the idea and not be extra. But this is what happens when you realize your 35th birthday falls on your usual CrossFit day and you have spare cake in the freezer. 🫣🙃 At least I got that idea out of my system and the extra cake out of my house.🤣 Thanks to my friends at CrossFit Implore for kicking off birthday celebrations with a quality sweat session (birthday burpees included 🙃)!

It has been a busy baking weekend indeed! Make sure you head out to tomorrow 6/6 for the spring Taste the Farm event from 9-3pm. We loved going last year and getting a behind-the-scenes look at where our veggies come from! You’ll also have an opportunity to sample and purchase our fan favorite GF caramel espresso cookies, buy one of these cutesy veggie sugar cookies, or pick your very own GF floral cupcake from this little cupcake garden! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of the goodies there!

Learned a new trick recently and got to put it to the test! I got to make my first floral bouquet for a dear friend’s birthday! I’m pleased with how it turned out and I learned a few things along the way. This is made of 1 dozen gluten-friendly white almond cupcakes with vanilla frosting. 🌸🌹🌺🪻There may be more where these came from. 👀

This is what 150 decorated sugar cookies looks like. This order was a heavy lift for me but that’s on brand for my friends at ! 💪🏾🏋🏾‍♀️ It was a baking PR for our Murph workout event. 😅 So sweet to have our repeat customer, Wing Environmental, facilitating the opportunity for me to bake for my gym friends!

Bonus: I didn’t die and participated in my first Murph (a half 😊). I’m so thankful for this community of encouragers who help me grow stronger and offset the occupational hazard of making so many sweet goodies. 🫣 It was my joy to provide treats for the event. And I’m of course thankful for the blessing of living in the land of the free because of the brave service members who sacrificed to make it possible. Have a blessed Memorial Day! ❤️🤍💙
