Saturday is shaping up to be a busy morning, so here we are with a late night Drizzle drabble.

Saturday, 8/29 we celebrate the legacy of the one and only Dolly Parton. Our Shiawassee RESD recently hit some funding roadblocks with our Imagination Library program, which was one of Dolly's proudest achievements. Through the generosity of local champions, they pushed through, but there is still room to help. That is why a portion of all our proceeds will go to help keep these books coming to our kiddos. Should you feel compelled to give more, we will get it to the right people, or direct you to the right people if you prefer. 📚

Is the beginning a little suspicious looking? Yeah.

Do I think it would have made Dolly laugh? Also yeah. So back off, I make food, not content.

Dollywood loaves are looking promising, y'all. 10% of all sales and anything else you want to contribute will go to back Shiawassee County's Dolly Parton's Imagination Library this Saturday while supplies last.

Bring your tissues, bring your joy. It's going to be a good day. 🩷🦋✌️

'Oh, Dolly!' Bars will be available at public hours this Saturday 8/29, not because I want to, but because it's right.

How lucky the world was to have Dolly Parton in it. Even with her passing, the world will continue to be brightened by her legacy. My son's final 'imagination library' book will be coming any day now, and I already know the tears will fall a little harder this time.

She gave us so much, the least I can do is honor her with a menu.

Stop in to raise a cup of ambition and sing along to the one and only this Saturday.

-Oh Dolly! Bars
-The scone of many colors (rainbow sprinkle scones)
-Cups of ambition (espresso mousse dessert cups)
-Strawberry pretzel bialy (inspired by her favorite dessert)
-Spud scones (she never met a Spud she didnt like)
-Mini cinnamon bread loaves (not as good as Dollywood's but I will do my best.)

This is week 2 of me disrespecting the traditional bialy until Mayor Mamdani personally sends me a cease and desist.

Public hours this week will include this new beauty, the strawberry pretzel bialy! A sugared soft pretzel bialy with cream cheese/strawberry jam filling, vanilla bean whipped cream, macerated strawberries, and a pretzel graham crumb. Think oldschool strawberry pretzel salad, but in drag. She werks, hunty.

Two things you wont want to miss tomorrow.

1. Summer abundance: An everything flavored soft pretzel bialy with herbed cream cheese, Adam Stackpole - Regenerative + Ecological Farming tomato slice/ fresh basil and a balsamic glaze. Heaven.

2. The Ruby-berry buckle: Strawberry Rhubarb muffins with a crunchy crumbly top and a little pocket of pie filling. There are 3 less than there should be because I ate them.

Public hours this Saturday, 8/15 from 9am-1pm featuring some of my favorite back to school snacks! Find Drizzle versions of cosmic brownies, oatmeal creme pies, and creme filled cupcakes on the counter! *Not* the nutty buddies because NEVER AGAIN. 🙃
