Hi friends 💛
Crumb Home Bakery will be taking a short break while I recover from shoulder surgery. For now, I’m focusing on healing and getting back to my regular work, and then I can shift some attention back to baking.
The order form is turned off for now. I’ll share updates here and let you know as soon as I’m ready to reopen.

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving 🦃🧡 Crumb has been busy baking up some cute holiday treats.

First were the s’mores cake pops dipped in white and chocolate with drizzle or tiny pumpkin toppers 🍫🎃

Then I made three inch sugar cookie cakes decorated as pumpkin pies and turkeys 🥧🦃

And a ten inch cookie cake that looks just like a big pumpkin pie 🧡🥧

I’m also sharing a cake I made recently for one of my favorite people. I loved doing the blue and green florals and the simple layered style 🎂💙💚

Pumpkin spice might just be making its way into Crumb Home Bakery 🎃✨ I tested a new flavor this week, and it’s giving me all the cozy fall vibes. Meanwhile, a cakesicle order went out the door… my necessary evil 😅 They’re tricky, fussy, and test my patience, but oh do they turn out adorable 😍 Totally worth it in the end!

I have not been posting much lately because life has been busy with baking and everything in between 🍪✨. I still wanted to share some special cakes and treats I have had the joy of making.

One of my favorites was a mini two tier cake 🎂 for a very special young lady. I baked, crumb coated, and frosted it white, and then she decorated it herself for her birthday 🎉. I brought the frosting, piping bags, food coloring, and sprinkles so she could bring her own vision to life. She did such a wonderful job! To go with it, I also made pink and white cake pops with little rose accents 🌸🍡.

Another fun project was a Daniel Tiger birthday package 🐯🚃. It included two dozen cake pops shaped like paws 🐾 and Daniel Tiger heads, plus a cookie cake with a trolley topper. It turned out adorable!

It has been a little quiet here lately ❤️ I have been balancing a lot with losing our family pet, creating an easier to use order form, soaking up these last summer days with my kiddos, and taking a quick trip to Wisconsin.

Even with all of that I have still been in the kitchen baking up some fun orders. Here are a few recent favorites:

This week’s cookie cake customer wanted to switch things up, and I was so here for it.

Instead of the usual chocolate chips, I went full peanut butter mode:
✨ Peanut butter chips inside
✨ A few melty chocolate chunks for good measure
✨ And the whole thing topped with a rich peanut butter buttercream

No special requests, just "make it delicious," so I made two. One for the order, one for home… and let me just say, everyone here is obsessed. Even the kids voted this version their new favorite! 🥜🍪💛
