Hello everyone! Our mini cupcake finally made his appearance on January 23rd, but the C-section didn’t come without its complications, after multi organ repairs and significant blood loss I was finally out of surgery 3 hours longer then what it was supposed to take. I was in the hospital a bit extra for recovery and have had a longer (rougher) recovery then what it was supposed to be. Baby boy is doing fantastic, we had a few issues to begin with concerning his breathing but as of right now they are resolved. I’m slowly starting to get back in the kitchen but have been instructed by my doctor to not do to much yet as i still have a pretty long road of healing of me (my husband has to keep reminding me I didn’t go through a simple surgery) I know a few people have started to see us out and about in town the last week or so and have showed so much love and concern (promise I’ll try to update sooner next time 😂🥴)

A family here in my community lost their home on 9/20 due to a house fire. They are trying to put together an online bake sale/gift sale fundraiser to help their family through this tough time! If you as a business or home baker can donate please reach out to Natasha Smith (listed on the flyer) I know it says Emporia/Ottawa but a lot of my following is in Lawrence and Gardner as well so if you can make the drive please do or I come up a few times a week I will help pickup items if needed and get them to her! If you bid on an item and win and you are outside of Ottawa you will be responsible for pickup in Ottawa on the set date. We are back!! (Well sorta😂)

Pre-orders for thanksgiving treats start now!

After 2 months we are finally getting back into a “normal” although I still have a long road ahead of me I’m finally up and moving so with that being said we are taking pre orders for Thanksgiving treats now as I will only be doing a very limited amount of orders! I’m very thankful for the thoughts, prayers, and god vibes sent our way!

All orders, pop up events (with my bakery), and so forth are on major hold right now. The boys, myself (driver) and Brian were in a major accident today. Everyone is okayish, baby is okay, Masen is banged up pretty bad (he was taken via ambulance to get scans done) but his seatbelt did its job, I was also taken via ambulance as my legs got pinched between the dash and with all the smoke Brian somehow seemed to get me out of the car as I couldn’t breathe I also have some nasty airbag marks on my arm but the baby is fine and nothing is broken so far, Brian is sore, Landonn has some marks from his car seat but the car, airbags, and seat belts did their jobs in keeping us safe. Mother Nature was brutal to us today, it was just un involved as I hydrplaned and nothing could’ve stopped/prevented it we spun hit the median on I-35 just about head on and spun all the way to the right shoulder. It could’ve been so much worse. I’m thanking all our lucky stars and God for keeping me babies and us safe. Please allow us time to heal and I will be getting with everyone about orders etc soon.

Those who don’t know my kiddo has undergone 4 surgeries since the beginning of June and has another one coming up (we don’t have a date yet) so I’m doing a new goodie sale each week to raise money to put away for the expenses that come along with his surgery!
