I don’t ever bake cakes because I always felt intimidated but I wanted to try a sourdough chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream 🫠 I surpassed my own expectations.

I think sometimes we wait for a sign, wait for the right moment and just keep going day by day waiting. We are in control of our life; the steps we take, the things we do. I have been wanting a change, new scenery and adventures and this was it. A sporadic decision and we are going all in and starting a new adventure. Nothing is stopping you but YOU; worrying about all the things that can go wrong, all the reasons why you shouldn’t, just go. Just do it! Live life to the fullest🫶🏼

I am Cynthia, the owner- baker- chef behind The Loaf BakeHouse✨

I originally just cooked; I loved baking but really was never the best at it. I became a culinary instructor and thought I should learn how to bake. I started with basic breads then a sourdough starter and haven’t looked back since.

Now here we are with a micro bakery, making things I really enjoy for my family, friends and community. No preservatives, no additives or artificial colors. Just real ingredients; exceptionally made for you✨
