The Mother's Day gift table gave the girls the chance to select an extra gift for mom. The biggest hit were the coupons. The moms loved the coupons, which included goodies like a short foot massage, free car wash, and help with household chores for a day. When I got home, I redeemed my coupons and received a car wash from my son, and my daughter took care of cleaning the kitchen. Thank you to all who came out and made this so special.

Some days feel like this…

Running a cake business,
trying to post content,
keeping up with the house,
and still wanting to be present for my kids…

It’s a lot.

I’m learning I can’t do everything at once.

So I’m working on slowing down…
even in the middle of the chaos.

Just one cake at a time and one moment a time.

I watched this and felt it.

Because some days…
I’m rushing out the door for a cake delivery,
telling my kids “hurry up”
like it’s their fault I’m running late.

No prayer.
No calm moment.
No real connection.

Just stress.

And it made me realize…
how we start their morning matters more than we think.

I’m working on slowing it down now.
Even if everything isn’t perfect.

Because these moments shape their whole day.
