My favorite cookies almost never start in the kitchen—they start in tiny moments.

There it is. The reminder I didn’t know I needed.

If you’ve been here for a while, you know this business has taken more pauses than I can count. Maybe it’s been the self-doubt. Maybe it’s the sheer exhaustion. Maybe it’s because life with two little kids doesn’t exactly leave a lot of room for entrepreneurship.

But when your son looks at you and says, “still make cookies” you listen.

I have so many ideas for Nishi Mami’s Cookies. So many things I’ve dreamed up that have been sitting in my notes app just waiting for me to catch my breath. I’m hoping, slowly but surely, they’ll all come to life.

As always, this page probably won’t ever be the most curated or aesthetically perfect corner of Instagram. But I can promise it’ll always be honest. It’ll be relatable and real. It’ll be a collection of little squares filled with motherhood, entrepreneurship, the messy middle, and everything in between.

A typical day: laundry, our silly dog, and our family gathered around the TV watching mommy’s favorite team in the world.

But tonight felt extra special because Rylan got to eat dinner on the couch and narrate the game for me. His version of the game, the excitement, the emotions..I lived for every second of it 😂
