This is the easiest, most versatile banana bread recipe, the kind you can make while cleaning out your freezer🍌💛
Start with the base, then turn it into any version your heart (or freezer) desires:
✨ Wet Base
3 ripe bananas (fresh or frozen!)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
⅓ cup melted butter
✨ Dry Base
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1½ cups flour (I do half oat, half white)
From there…
🍫 Chocolate Chip Banana Bread: add cinnamon + chocolate chips
🍓 Strawberry Banana Bread: add fresh or frozen strawberries + white chocolate chips
🥭 Mango Coconut Bread: add grated coconut + chopped dried mango, frozen mango chunk or mango purée
Combine both the dry and wet bases, pour into a greased or parchment lined loaf pan.
Bake at 350°F for 55–60 min, cool completely, slice, and slather with butter.
