I make something just like this around the holidays talk about amazing

Southern Sweet Potato Casserole!

INGREDIENTS
4 cups sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
1 cup brown sugar
⅓ cup half and half
⅓ cup butter, softened
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 ½ teaspoons salt

TOPPING
1 cup brown sugar
⅓ cup flour
1 1/3 cup pecan pieces
½ cup butter, melted

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, add sweet potato, brown sugar, half and half, butter, egg, vanilla, and salt. Beat with mixer until completely smooth.
Transfer sweet potato mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread into an even layer.
In a small bowl combine sugar, flour, pecan, and melted butter until a crumbly mixture forms. Sprinkle over sweet potatoes.
Bake for 35 minutes, then allow dish to cool for a minimum of 20 minutes before serving

I pursued my passion and went to culinary school in Baton Rouge, LA and got my degree in hospitality and culinary management.
