🇳🇱 YOU, ME & AMSTERDAM
Europe ’26 • Part II

Paris was lovely, BUT Y’ALL… Amsterdam/De Pijp definitely gave it a run for its money!😍

The food was AWESOME, and we definitely kicked off the trip right when we stopped by Le Smash restaurant and grabbed a couple of scrumptious smash burgers!🍔✨

Although we had to duck and dodge a few places along the way (iykyk😅), the hidden gems we found were worth every moment. From the beautiful streets and unique little spots, to simply taking in the atmosphere of De Pijp, Amsterdam gave us a completely different experience—and we loved every bit of it.🤎

But one of our favorite moments was BY FAR our visit to LadyBird Fried Chicken (the OG location), a prominent Black-owned soul food restaurant right in the heart of De Pijp! And let me tell y’all… THE FOOD WAS NO JOKE.🍗🔥

If we had stayed in Amsterdam any longer, we probably would’ve eaten there for the rest of the week!😂 The food was THAT good. But the service was even better.🫶🏾

Now if you haven’t noticed from the pictures… Amsterdam was CHILLY! 🥶😂 We had to find ourselves some coats REAL quick! And when it’s cold outside, you know that this baker and lover of sweets will find a warm treat SOMEWHERE! So of course we haddd to stop by LOURENS for their delicious CROOKIES (croissant 🥐 + cookie 🍪). They were so good that they were gone before I could get a picture!😋

Well, another beautiful chapter of our European adventure. 🇳🇱🤎

Amsterdam, you definitely surprised us. And it was our pleasure.✨

🇫🇷 YOU, ME & PARIS
Europe ’26 • Part I

Amy B made it to Paris y'all, and it was worth every step. 🥹✨

We managed to experience so many incredible sights in the City of Light—from the iconic Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame Cathedral to the famous Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe, and Sacré-Cœur Basilica. It was truly a memorable adventure!

But whew… getting from one major site to the next was NO easy task. 😂 Between the walking, navigating, traffic, and trying to see as much as we possibly could, our feet definitely knew we were on vacation! However every step, every view, and every moment was a priceless experience—one we couldn’t have possibly had anywhere else.

So grateful to the Lord that I got to experience it all with my husband Jarel Fryer .🤍

And an honorable mention to the world’s GREATEST taxi driver, who helped make getting around Paris SO much easier! 😂🚕 We truly couldn’t have done it without you!

A trip we’ll never forget. 🇫🇷🤍

Paris, you have our hearts.

Some cakes are simply desserts… and some are made with a little more love. 🩷🍓

It was such an honor to create this cake for a sweet family celebrating their daughter’s 5th heavenly birthday. They gave me complete creative freedom, and I was so excited to create something that reflected the sweetness of their precious girl. 🥹

Three layers of homemade lemon zest cake, filled with whipped cream and strawberry filling, covered in strawberry buttercream made with real freeze-dried strawberries, and finished with fresh strawberries. 🍋🍓

One of the sweetest parts? Her mama was kind enough to send me pictures after they cut into the cake! I’m always so grateful when customers share those moments with me because I don’t always get to see the inside of my cakes once they leave my kitchen.

Thank you for trusting Amy B’s Sweets & Treats with such a special moment. It was truly an honor. 🩷

Today was all about good O Town ice cream, big smiles, and celebrating 11 years of a local favorite doing what they do best!💛
