Another big Thank you to the “Dressed to the Nine’s” Ladies for allowing me to cater their 2nd High Tea today. All of the ladies met the assignment & looked stunning!Today’s menu was: Egg Mayonnaise & Cucumber Sandwiches, Cocktail Sausage Rolls (not pictured), Scones accompanied with Cream & Jam, Lemon Drizzle Cake, Millionaire shortbread & Chocolate Dipped Strawberries!

A Victoria Sponge in honour of Queen Victoria’s 206th Birthday 🎂 Fun fact (or useless information 🤣), The Victoria sponge Sandwich is the most traditional of the British cakes & was named after Queen Victoria as she insisted on having a slice every afternoon!

What are the British staples that you can’t live without? These are my top 4…..Well, it could be any British Chocolate but we are on a bit of a Wispa kick at the moment, along with Cadbury’s Caramel but that accidentally got eaten before the picture 🤣No morning is complete without at least 3 cups of Yorkshire tea, I use Bisto on a daily basis & Heinz Salad cream goes with almost anything! Curious to know what everybody else loves🇨🇦🇬🇧
