This one isn’t about ice cream. It’s about the importance of dads.
For 10 years, my dad was eCreamery’s delivery driver. He’d show up before I did, load the truck, drive the route — and almost every day before he left, he’d grab a pint, sit down across from me, and tell me he was proud of me.
A fall and a stroke have slowed him down this year. He doesn’t drive the route anymore. He still eats ice cream like it’s his job.
So this Father’s Day, my dad isn’t the one delivering the pints. He’s the one I’m sending one to.
