Back at the Market !
Today was my first farmers market back after 6 weeks away, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. Seeing so many familiar faces and hearing that I was missed was so incredibly special. 🥹
I also got to meet so many new customers today who learned about our Pay What You Can table supporting addiction recovery and seeing the generosity and larger donations that came from that was truly amazing.
I’m so grateful to be back, to bake for this community, and to be able to use something I love to give back to something that means so much. 🤍🖤
Thank you for welcoming me back. I missed you guys, too!

Some opportunities are about so much more than baked goods.

When I started the Pay What You Can table at S.O.S. Baked Goods, it was to honor my brother, Josh, and to turn my grief into something that could give back by supporting addiction and recovery resources in our community.

Along the way, I met Olivia Bond. We connected through a heartbreak neither of us ever wanted to understand, losing our brothers to addiction. Today, she has transformed that grief into hope by opening Bond Grief Collective, a place where individuals and families can find compassionate support through loss, trauma, and life's transitions.
I am incredibly honored that S.O.S. Baked Goods was asked to provide cookies for Bond Grief Collective's Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony tomorrow in Manhattan, KS.

Every time S.O.S. Baked Goods is invited to stand alongside organizations bringing hope and healing to our community, I'm reminded that this bakery has become so much more than bread. What began as a way to honor Josh's memory has grown into opportunities to support people who are creating real change, and that is something I will never take for granted.

I'm so grateful for the community that has rallied around this little bakery and embraced the mission behind it. Your support has made moments like this possible, and I truly believe that even from our deepest losses, something beautiful can grow.
Congratulations, Olivia and Austin, on this incredible milestone.

Thank you for trusting me to be a small part of such a meaningful day. I can't wait to celebrate with you. ❤️
