There’s a reason these sourdough cinnamon rolls have become a staple on our pre-orders and at the Farmstand every single week. 🤎

Soft, gooey, perfectly swirled and more than once they’ve been claimed to be “better than CinnaBon” — which honestly still makes me smile every time I hear it. 🥹

But these rolls aren’t rushed. They’re a true labor of love.

Each batch takes over 18 hours of bulk fermenting and rising to develop that signature sourdough tang while also creating a cinnamon roll that’s easier to digest and made with simple ingredients you can feel good about feeding your family.

From mixing the dough before bed, to rolling each swirl by hand before sunrise, to pulling them golden brown goodness from the oven…these rolls carry a whole lot of heart in every single bite.

And judging by how quickly they disappear from the Farmstand each week, I’d say they’ve become a favorite around here too. ✨

There’s just something about a fresh loaf of sourdough sitting on the counter that feels like home. 🤍

Not only is sourdough delicious with its perfectly crisp crust and soft, chewy center, but it also comes with some pretty amazing benefits too. Thanks to our long fermentation process, sourdough is often easier to digest, made with simple ingredients, and naturally rich in flavor without all the unnecessary extras.

Here at Rooted & Rise, we offer a wide variety of sourdough each week — from our staple loaves like Original, Wheat, and Rye to a rotating lineup of Inclusion Loaves packed with both savory and sweet flavors. One week you may find Garlic & Herb, Garlic Cheddar Chive or Cheddar Jalapeño…the next, Cinnamon Honey Butter or Blueberry Lemon. 👏 OR maybe you get really lucky and find them ALL in the same week.

I've been told many times that our Farmstand is like a mini Farmer's Market and as the garden starts producing I suppose that's sort of true...and fun! The truth is that it really just allows me to combine passions, be creative, try new things...all while showcasing some of the other small momma ran businesses in the area. And that is what I love.

So, swing by anytime from 8am to Dusk. Anyday of the week. Enjoy the sunshine. Take a few deep breaths. Get a good morning crow from our Rooster and quail. Probably see my children being wild trying to evade school (🥴) and say "hi" if you catch us out and about.

📸 Behind the bakery scenes...

There’s something sacred about planting a garden.
Not just the digging and watering or the dirt beneath your nails…but the hope tucked into every single seed.

Today after planting, I walked row by row, praying over this little patch of earth. Praying for growth. For provision. For patience. For peace inside these raised beds and inside this home.

I prayed over the herbs that will flavor your bread.
The vegetables that will fill our table & Farmstand.
The flowers that will feed the bees.
And the tiny hands that follow behind me, learning that good things take time, tenderness, and faith.

Gardening has a way of humbling you.
You can prepare the soil, pull the weeds, water faithfully…and still, so much is left in God’s hands.

Maybe that’s why I love it so much.

Because every garden is an act of trust.
A quiet reminder that even after hard seasons, things can still bloom again.

So here’s to another year of planting roots deep.

In the soil.
In our family.
In this community.

And trusting that what’s grown with love will always nourish more than just hungry bellies.

One of my most favorite things to make...scones!

And honestly, it's one of the items I've spent the time learning about. Learning how to get a nice thick scones, which ingredients to keep frozen while mixing, how to keep their flakey layers & keeping a moist & tender texture. When it comes to my scones I enjoy keeping them slightly rustic, old fashioned in texture, plentiful in flavor and with just the slightest sweet drizzle on top...that way you can enjoy something fresh baked without feeling guilty ya know?

This is one of Rooted & Rise's most popular items (y'all have showin' them love & kept me making tons of these a week!) and I've enjoyed getting creative with them over the last two years crafting over 140 flavors and even sizing them into minis and jumbo for private events! I have some fun new flavors in mind for this summer so be on the lookout for them to rotate through.

This little diddy...After Sun Spray ☀️

I started using Essential Oils in 2014 and within a month I had a bustling side hustle of people that wanted to do life more naturally...which is something I am incredibly passionate about. Slowly I started researching, replacing products we used in our home and sharing that knowledge with anyone else that wanted to learn.

Fast forward over a decade and we still use the same oils and handmade products in our home. That's how you know they're great. One of my absolute favorites this time of the year is this recipe I created way back in the beginning. A mix of Vitamin E to nourish and soothe, Lavender to soothe and promote healing and a hint of Peppermint for the most incredible cooling effect when your skin is feeling the total post sun, 🔥 effect.
