👻🎃 BOO, bread lovers! 🎃👻

We’ve been haunting the kitchen with an idea… what if Rooted & Rise cooked up a Spooky Sourdough Menu for Halloween? 👩‍🍳✨

Think spooky flavored loaves, maybe a lil' pumpkin spice, witch and mummies, or even ghostly scones 👻

But I want to know — should we do it?!
🕯️ Yes — I’m dying for a spooky menu!
🦇 Maybe… depends how scary the bread gets 😅
🍞 Keep it classic, I’m a sourdough purist!

Tell us in the comments what spooky treats you’d love to see this Halloween!

P.S. Bonus points if you drop your wildest flavor idea — the creepier the better 🕷️

We've reached the time of year where the holidays start to fill our schedules and a crazy life gets just a bit...crazier 🥴

As I look ahead with the bakery we have a few events upcoming, a Farmstand that will continue to be filled each weekend (as long as the weather allows!), new menus coming each week and of course, holidays too!

If you have a holiday party upcoming, a shower to plan or a family get together to host that you'd like fresh baked treats at please reach out! I've been honored thus far to bake for work birthdays, employee appreciation gifts, bridal showers, baby showers and family get togethers too!

I'd be happy to create something special for you too!

And a bonus? Most of my items can be made into "minis" meaning your guests can easily sample a few! And really? What's better than a variety of fresh baked goods?

Happy Monday!

This weekend I spent some time in the sunshine cleaning out our garden and while most of it is now gone there was a few things I wasn't ready to let go of...some of the tomato plants, pepper plants (they are GORGEOUS this year!), celery, loofah and a handful of my herbs plants too. It seems hard to believe that we've hit the wind down of yet another garden season. And yet, here we are.

That said, if anyone would like a handful of fresh picked tomatoes or herbs please let me know! 👇

A few other things:

🛒: The Farmstand is open today and has a handful of fresh baked goods left that would LOVE homes! There's a few loaves, cinnamon rolls, a pan of focaccia and scones too. And, because I really don't need to eat it myself, if you’re seeing this come snag it for a deal:

Original Sourdough Loaf $ 10 --> $8
Inclusion Sourdough Loaf $14 --> $10
Sourdough Focaccia (Pan) $14 --> $10
Sourdough Cinnamon Roll $4 --> $3
Sourdough Scone $3 --> $2

Just leave me a note letting me know you saw the post and what you snagged so I keep my bookkeeping accurate 🥴

🍞: Our weekly pre-order menu closes TOMORROW. Be sure to snag all your favorites before then! Next week will look a bit different bakery wise given some personal obligations so it's a good week to stock up on your favorites! Plus, its set to be cold next weekend so let's put my ovens to w.o.r.k so my house is toasty. 🤣

More later!
