October 31 marks TWO YEARS of The Ancestral Oven as a brick-and-mortar bakery and café!

What started as a dream has grown into something so much bigger than we could have ever imagined, and the best part is that we’ve grown together along the way. From our very first days to the incredible community we have today, every step has been shaped by the people who make The Ancestral Oven what it is.

To our amazing team, our loyal customers, and our friends and family who have supported us, encouraged us, and believed in us — THANK YOU. You are part of our story, and we wouldn’t be here without you.

As sad as we are to share this, we must. The Farmers Market season has come to an end for us. 😭 We will be unable to attend the final few Saturdays at the Tinley Park Farmers Market.
The full Market will conclude October 24th.

Until next year Farmers Market family! We will miss seeing you!

An update from us ❤️

When we opened The Ancestral Oven, we hoped we would grow, but honestly, we didn't expect to grow this quickly. We’re incredibly grateful for how much our community has embraced us.

That growth has brought some growing pains along the way. As demand continues to increase rapidly, we’re working hard to add team members, increase production, reduce wait times, and keep more of your favorites available throughout the day.

Starting Tuesday, September 29th, we’ll be making some adjustments to our menu pricing. This allows us to continue investing in our growing team, quality ingredients, and the food and service we want to provide you.

We know that price changes are never easy, and we don’t make them lightly. Our goal is to continue growing the right way while giving our team and our customers the experience they deserve.

We’re incredibly grateful for every visit, order, review, and recommendation that has helped our small family business get here.
