Cookie tip✍🏽

My favorite way to give cookies an indescribable taste that’s just ✨different✨ is browned butter!
Now I’ve mentioned it before but for those who want to know, here’s the jist!

You take the butter needed for your recipe and cook it down on your stove top.. slowly! Dooo not rush. By doing so the water in the butter evaporates and eventually (like shown in video) the milk solids toast and turn a brown color giving the butter a delicious caramelized nutty flavor 🥰

You can cool the butter and add to your other ingredients immediately OR my personal favorite is to cool the butter and then refrigerate back to a solid. THEN add to your cookie recipe !

Did you know?
My dough that I make for all of you is a labor of love, and each dough has a waiting period of atleast 24 hrs! I like to “marinate” my dough in the fridge for 24 hours so the flour in the cookie dough has enough time to soak in all the flavors. By refrigerating you also allow the butter to become more solid producing a more puffy, chewy cookie in the end rather than flat and crispy!

Today’s drop includes a new goodie🎉

I have been making homemade caramels and getting my recipe just right since Christmas and finally rolling them out!

The caramels are not your average store but break your teeth sweet treat. They are pull apart melt in your mouth soft, with a soft coffee flavor and dusted with flakey salt. They are delicious!

I also dropped off a new cookie flavor❤️
I have had quite a number of requests for white chocolate macadamia and finally decided to give it a try. With my own twist of course!

These cookies have browned butter, caramelized white chocolate along with chopped macadamias! They turned out better than I could have hopped they are chewy rich and just the perfect amount of crispy ❤️

Cinnadoodle is a snickerdoodle with a make over, think fluffier but rich and a chewy bite! I’ve been working these ones over a while now and tested out this Easter weekend and they were a hit!

Maple Vanilla Bean scones were just dropped off at Its All About U 🫶🏼

If you’ve never had a scone, the best way to describe them is tender and flaky. I always say they’re like the best part of a muffin!

Scones have a high fat to flour ratio, one recipe makes only 8 scones out of ONE stick of butter. Scones have got to be my favorite quick breakfast/mid morning treat ❤️
