Most everything about a quilt can be a metaphor for change and healing in a life. Pieces of fabric new or old, or even tattered scraps of fabric can symbolize the different parts of our lives, as if the 'falling to pieces' is coming together. The thread symbolizes the healing, how simple and slight this fiber is, and yet it binds it all together with simple loops and binds our souls to the experiences and people throughout our lives. Healing is tending to our hearts, sewing the pieces together, one stitch, one thought, one feeling at a time until all the pieces are brought together. Once whole again, you may choose to discard some previous adornment and weave in new layers of embellishment to bring joy to your being and bloom just a wee bit more🌸🌿🌺 I encourage you to find your path to bliss once again so you can look forward to what a new season is able to offer and wrap yourself in warmth and a new zest for each day!
