I had a huge honor this weekend to prepare an anniversary cake for an amazing couple. 63 years married!!!! They have stuck it out through sickness and health and all while raising children. Local residents of Hinckley who are a true example of what marriage means. Congratulations to a beautiful 63 years.
Cake was chocolate triple layer with caramel and toffee filling, topped with edible images, edible gold leaf, chocolate buttercream and hand made sugar magnolias.

A few months ago I was introduced to an amazing organization, Icing Smiles Inc.
They team up bakers with families going through tough times with kids that have severe medical needs. Today was my first call to action. I am so honored that this cake will help bring a smile and lots of joy on a little girl's birthday today! Happy Birthday and thank you Icing Smiles for this opportunity!

It is with a heavy heart that I will be taking a long break from Pittie Cakes. If you already have orders placed, never fear! Those will be fulfilled. Thank you to everyone who has ordered and supported me over the past 6 years. I appreciate each and every one of you. This is not an easy decision that was taken lightly.

It's time to work on some work-life balance and myself.

I love making celebration cakes for my friends and family. Last weekend I had the pleasure of making a birthday cake for one of our close friends. Dark Chocolate cake, fudgy chocolate filling with Heath crunchies and topped with milk chocolate frosting and edible family photos placed in gold fondant frames. Happy Birthday Duane!!!
