Graduation season is on the horizon, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with sweet handhelds!

Tiramisu crunch layer cake accompanied by cupcake counterparts in celebration of my 21st birthday this past week!

Inspired by my favorite dessert, this cake features espresso mascarpone goodness!

A vanilla sponge soaked with espresso syrup, topped with a mascarpone buttercream and a special chocolatey espresso bean crumble—YUM

Is it cake???

Celebrated a friend’s 21st birthday this past Halloween weekend which was the perfect time to whip out some scary sweets

The flavor requested for this cake was inspired by strawberry cheesecake. A vanilla cake flavored with cheesecake pudding mix, a Graham cracker cookie butter and strawberry jam filling, all surrounded by a cream cheese buttercream and topped with (cake) bloody white chocolate ganache—you can’t go wrong!

Definitely one of my favorites so far in terms of flavors and decoration. Happy Halloween to all and Happy belated birthday

Chocolate covered strawberry cupcakes 🍓🍫

Not only are these cupcakes decadent and mouth watering, but also gluten free! I haven’t made gluten free options in the past, but these turned out great!

These gluten free chocolate cupcakes are filled with a strawberry jammy filling, topped with a whipped chocolate ganache and a chocolate covered strawberry to bring it all together

Reminder to get in those last minute orders before it’s too late! I appreciate advanced notices in order to plan my working schedule around baking so I can make the best outcome possible for you guys

This will be the last month I’m available around the Northfield area until the holidays, so get your orders in early!

School starts for me at the end of the month, and there’s no better way to start saying goodbye to summer than with s’mores cookies!

This is a new recipe I’ve adapted, so make sure to give them a try before it’s too late!

Sometimes I get obsessed with certain flavor combos that inspire me to bake or cook them in different ways than traditionally intended

Coming from the Midwest, I had never heard about Hummingbird cake until a few months ago. I decided to try it and—WOW!

So of course, I’ve been playing with bananas, cinnamon, and pineapple trying to create a new hummingbird-style recipe. And here we have it: Hummingbird banana bread bars

These bars display a spectrum of flavors. Whether it’s the banana, pineapple, coconut, nuts, or the spices, the ingredients come together so nicely in a way you wouldn’t believe!

Chocolate chip cookie dough cake!

This cake features 2 chocolate chip cake layers, a thick layer of edible chocolate chip cookie dough, vanilla Swiss buttercream, chocolate ganache, and more edible cookie dough for topping!

Today I whipped up some sugar cookies with fresh strawberries straight from Lawrence’s Berry Farm!

My mom and I love all things matcha, so I had to add the green tea powder to half of the cookie dough as an experiment (and I’m so glad I did!)

Both the regular sugar cookies and the matcha ones are topped with a strawberry buttercream and sliced strawberries for garnish

These turned out great! It’s been a few weeks since I’ve made cookies, and these were a perfect return back to cookie goodness🍪

This s’mores layer cake is complete with a chocolate cake base, Graham cracker cookie butter filling, mini marshmallows, and chocolate ganache. Can’t forget about the cute little Teddy grahams making an appearance on top, either!

A little bit of an update to my strawberry shortcake cupcake recipe

This time I made the cake a little more dense, allowing more moisture, with a creamier frosting, a puréed strawberry filling, and a quartered strawberry for presentation

I always try to look for ways to update things I’ve already made so that they can be better for incoming orders!

Can’t forget about this little number for my lovely roommates 20th birthday!

I was instructed to choose whatever cake flavor I wanted to make for her birthday, so I tried to think outside of the box and use an ingredient I always have lying around the house—cereal.

My parents work for Post Consumer Brands, so they have the luxury of bringing bags and boxes of cereal home often. I wanted to utilize this benefit through baking, which led me to create this Fruity Pebble cereal milk layer cake!

I wish I could’ve gotten a picture of the cross section, as it featured a fruity pebble cake base mimicking a Funfetti look. The buttercream and cake both contain a special ingredient of milk soaked in fruity pebbles to really tie in the flavor. Topped with white chocolate ganache and more cereal, of course!

Banana split birthday cake for my dad’s 58th! 🍌🎂🍦

This cake features three different cake flavors—chocolate, banana, and vanilla. Strawberry buttercream and pineapple chunks fill the layers, accompanied by a vanilla buttercream, chocolate ganache, peanuts, maraschino cherries, and LOTS of sprinkles!

One of my proudest creations yet! This is one of the reasons I find baking so fun and rewarding. The fact that it tastes AMAZING doesn’t hurt, either ;)
