Thank you to everyone who cookie tested for me today! There was a clear winner, even though people seemed to like both- the boldness of the one with the additional pure lemon extract on top of the fresh juice and lemon zest will be the one I use going forward. I’m not sure when these will be on the actual menu, but it’ll be sometime this summer. When I remember how to zest things without damaging myself.

A merry Friday bake day to you!! I'm grateful folks were down for an earlier day of pick up so I can attend both a family reunion and also the final day my old high school, the Academy for Science and Agriculture, will be open. That place had a huge impact on my path in this life and I'm sad that more kids won't be able to experience the farm days and critical thinking science education there. I hope more schools take a similar STEAM approach to education when our country begins to invest in k-12 public education again.
