🎃🍪 THE GREAT PUMPKIN PIE COOKIE EXPERIMENT 🍪🎃

Well, Trash Pandas… we have a situation. 😂🐼

I had a vision. A beautiful, delicious, fall-inspired vision of the perfect pumpkin pie cookie. 🍂🎃

And then reality happened. Repeatedly. 🤣

There have been experiments. There have been adjustments. There have been moments of “OHHH, THIS IS IT!” followed by moments of “absolutely NOT.” 😂

And now I have a collection of photographic evidence documenting my journey toward pumpkin cookie perfection. 📸💀

The good news? I’m learning something with every batch.

The bad news? The pumpkin pie cookie has officially become my nemesis. 😂

But I refuse to let a cookie win. I have flour, determination, and just enough stubbornness to make this everyone’s problem. 🫡🍪

So for now, the pumpkin pie cookie remains in the Trash Panda test kitchen. No promises on when it will make its grand debut… but when it does, you can bet it’ll be worth the wait. 🧡

In the meantime, enjoy these behind-the-scenes glimpses of my baking chaos. Because apparently, sometimes the road to a delicious cookie is paved with questionable decisions and a whole lot of pumpkin. 😂🎃

I baked fresh cookies this morning and have a limited number available:

🔴🟡 M&M cookies 🟢🔵
🤎 Chipless dipped dark chocolate cookies
🍫 Chipless dipped milk chocolate cookies

And today, I’m trying something a little different:

YOU choose what you feel they’re worth. 🍪

I want to be transparent about what goes into these cookies. This batch contains 1,797 grams of dough, with each cookie weighing about 41 grams. The ingredients for the entire batch cost me $22, which works out to approximately $0.51 in ingredients per cookie.

As you know, ingredients aren’t the only thing that goes into a handmade cookie. My time, electricity, packaging, kitchen expenses, and the work that goes into running a tiny, gluten-free, mom-owned business.

So rather than setting the price today, I’m letting you decide what you feel a fresh, handmade cookie is worth.

💗 Ingredient cost: approximately $0.51/cookie
💗 Suggested value: $1.50–$2.00/cookie
💗 Feel they’re worth more? I certainly won’t argue! 😉
