I’ve been a little quieter on here lately—and honestly, life behind the scenes has just been very full.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve been tucked away finalizing galleries, photographing my own family through all 12345+ events this month (Maycember is absolutely a real thing 😅), and pouring my heart into starting something new with .
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Between dance things, school things, friend things, family things, and just trying to remember what day it is…it’s been a season.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But it’s also been a really beautiful one. A reminder that while social media may go quiet sometimes, it’s because I’m living real life—loving my people, serving my clients, and building things I care about.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Still here. Just a little less behind the screen lately 🤍

Spring evenings just have a certain magic to them.

The soft light.
Everything starting to bloom again.
Kids happy to be outside without needing a jacket.

Spring sessions are some of my favorite evenings to photograph each year. And because they’re outdoors, I only take a small number each season.

If you’ve been thinking about a spring session for your family, now’s a great time to reach out. The inquiry link is in my bio. 🤍

One thing that surprises people when they work with me:
I don’t offer a million location options, and that’s intentional.

When families book a session, they already have enough decisions to make—what the kids will wear, whether naps will cooperate, if everyone will smile at the same time. The last thing I want is to hand you a list of twenty locations and say “pick one.”

Instead, I carefully choose the places I photograph in.

Places where I know the light.
Places that photograph beautifully in every season.
Places where I know your gallery will look like the images you fell in love with in my portfolio.

Because when you hire a photographer, you’re not just hiring someone with a camera—you’re trusting their expertise.

I’ve even had a client tell me once that their session experience was *exactly* what they expected.
Honestly? That might be the highest compliment I’ve ever received.

Behind the scenes, I also vet every location carefully—building relationships with property owners, respecting the rules of each space, and making sure the environments I bring families into are safe, comfortable, and welcoming.

Because the best sessions happen when you don’t have to think about the details—
you can simply trust the process.

My house isn’t serene or Pinterest-aesthetic.

It’s dance recitals in the playroom.
It’s someone crying because they wanted something different for dinner.
It’s little arms around my neck while I’m trying not to drop my ever-growing kids.

And lately, I’ve been protecting my headspace. Unfollowing accounts that quietly stir up envy. Letting go of the pressure to make our life look a certain way. Choosing contentment instead.

Because our home doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s to be beautiful.
It’s full. It’s loud. It’s deeply loved. It’s just--ours.

And that’s the kind of beauty I’m drawn to, both in my life and in the families I photograph. 🤍

I’ve been rethinking what I want my email list to feel like.
It used to be called a “VIP list,” but honestly? I want it to become less about promotions and more about people.

So it’s evolving into something that feels more like a community—a place for expecting, new, and seasoned mamas to feel supported, inspired, and understood.

Yes, you’ll get my monthly style boards (here's a peek at January's 🤍), but you’ll also find blog posts, life lessons I’m learning in real time, favorite family recipes, gift ideas, and simple ways to be more present with your people.

It’s not about being “in the know.”
It’s about having a space that meets you where you are.

If that sounds like something you’d love, I’d be so happy to have you there. Link to join below 🤍

Newborn photos don’t have to be complicated to be meaningful. Sometimes it’s the smallest details that make an image one your family will treasure forever.

A tiny hand resting on a fingerprint necklace.
A bonnet passed down through generations.
A well-loved stuffy tucked in close.

These details hold stories—of where your baby comes from, who they’re forever connected to, and the love that surrounds them from the very beginning. 🤍

We said goodbye to our sweet Bubba yesterday.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
He left hearing that he was the BEST boy and that we loved him. 🩵
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our hearts are broken, but at peace knowing he was declining and is no longer in pain.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We can’t imagine a better cat to have blessed our family for 9 years. We will miss the way he more wheezed than purred, drooled when he was happy, and came to lay on you the second you put a blanket on your lap. We’ll miss him sitting in front of the fridge at 5pm begging for his food, the way he met us at the door after a trip, and the how he’d defend his house to the neighborhood cats outside our windows. We’ll miss the way he’d love to be held like a baby, and how patient and loving he was towards the girls.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I hope there’s plenty of cabinet doors, light reflections, and scraps of paper to play with in kitty-heaven. ☁️
