Oh hey, hi. Remember me? (Insert audible gasps and whispers of, "she DOES still exist!")

If you don't, maybe it's because I haven't posted in...363 days. Big yikes 😳 Well, as you may or may not know, I became the full time pastry chef for The Stockpot restaurants, and therefore just kinda funneled all my cake business over there so I could create these babies *on the clock* and save myself a little bit of sanity.

So this page served its purpose. It got me from part time hobbyist to full blown bakeasaurus.

"But beccaaaa, I didn't even care about the cakes, I was here for the nonsensical ramblings." Funny story... I do all the restaurants' social media, too, so you can hear me ramble elsewhere, just with a more restauranty tone. (, , )

BUT I found that when people would tell other people about my cakes, they would pull up this page, and how embarrassing, it's all OLD content. So, long story long, I'm back. And I've got a lot of material to catch you up on, so buckle up, buttercups!

What's the condition called when you just want to transform into a woodland nymph and rest upon a mossy log, under the shade of a mushroom umbrella, smelling sweet wildflowers and sipping morning dewdrop cocktails out of an acorn cap? You know that band that keeps having farewell tours, disappears for a minute, just to be like, "s**e! We're back!" and come out with a banger of an album, only to do the same thing a little ways down the road? Over and over and over? This is just like that, but also not, because I absolutely never quit cakerating, but I have ONCE AGAIN made my return to the socials! Hooray!

I love getting flowers. Like, love love LOVE getting flowers. But if those flowers happened to be made out of buttercream? No sneezy pollen AND a tasty treat! You could even share them. You could. No one is making you though 😉

He's a Potterhead. But he's also a sneakerhead. Because people, and cakes, are multifaceted, and unique. Like these custom Nikes I imaginated for this cake (hey , need some new ideas? I gotchu. This could be my side side hustle). Shoe talk aside, I'm also digging the darker, moodier HP cakes.

Wow, that didn't take long. Only cake 4 out of 5 posts for today, and my brain is already out of any witty or interesting things to put in a caption. So here it is, free of any bells and whistles-

This cake has a buttercream tiger on it. And just like a tiger actually has striped skin under its fur, this cake is striped under its frosting.

Have I told you that my mom is a librarian? Oh, a few times now? Well, I'm telling you again- my mom is a librarian. A CHILDREN'S librarian at that!
