It’s been a rough few days.
There’s a strange heaviness that comes with saying, “See you soon” to someone you love. Even when you know where they are. Even when you know this goodbye isn’t forever. ❤️
Tonight, I’m getting back into the kitchen and doing something I love: Rolling dough, sprinkling cinnamon and brown sugar, and filling pans with cinnamon rolls for an order.
Grief and joy have a funny way of existing in the same space. So tonight, I’m grateful for busy hands, a familiar kitchen, and the reminder that because of Jesus, “See you soon," really does mean see you soon. 🤍
Now, these beauties are ready to rise. ❤️
