I just realized I have 10 years that I opened this page,, but I’ve been cooking baking since I was a little kid that I used to cook for my sister after school,
coming from an addiction that lasted 13 years, that I once was that hobo on the train tracks, that shower , where my niece would come and look for me and try to convince me to come home, as my sister did, and my family , until God, me, family and friends
, one day decided to get me out of there .I am also 16 years recovered, clean and sober. And I continued to help and sponsor other people in recovery
I started from Culinary arts program in a homeless shelter, Father Joes in San Diego !!! I trained , and  I was taught by some of the best chefs in the Navy that were there , they’re teaching the classes , went from there to a taco shop from there to a fine dining restaurant, and working with the two of the best chefs in the world one of them, a MasterChef taking me under his wing and teaching me , Chef Bernard and Chef Ron ,it has been a struggle and gratification and amazing time, now that I look back at so much that I have done and so much I’ve learned so many people I’ve met and taught me so much, and think about all those coworkers of people that taught me I am so grateful.
for the last two years I have not cooked or baked anything until this past December,!!! I have forgotten how much I love being in the kitchen, baking and cooking, hope to come back and start cooking for people and making fun desserts. Thank you so much everyone for your support too
