Hello Cake Lovers!! I apologize for the radio silence! A couple of months ago I got to switch gears and work on a super fun project that I can finally talk about! I had to opportunity to create the wedding cake and custom butter pads for the pilot episode of a new show on Amazon called "The Marvelous Mrs.Maisel"! You guys, it is so funny and well done! It's by the creators of Gilmore Girls and is quick witted, fast paced and beautifully created! The show takes place in NYC in the 1950's so the cake was really different than what I normally do but I had such a great time creating it! This is a photo of me on set assembling the custom 6 tier wedding cake. Seriously go check it out! "The Marvelous Mrs.Maisel" pilot now streaming on Amazon!
