Hello Waterside Families!
We are so excited to announce the return of our very popular Cascon Baking Company Fundraiser! (Thank You Donna!!) We will be selling cheesecakes and pies just in time for Thanksgiving! They come frozen, so donโt forget to stock up for the whole holiday season!
Please place your order by THURSDAY NOVEMBER 12th.
Pick Up will be MONDAY 12-2pm NOVEMBER 23rd in the Big Yard. For safety everyone must wear a mask and social distance.
This year the menu is limited to: Plain, Strawberry Slam and Oreo cheesecakes; and Pumpkin and Apple pies. All items are $17
To accommodate as many families as possible, we are providing two ways to order:

- Complete the contact information and enter how many of each
- You will receive an email with your submission
- Multiply the number of items by $17. Show your work using Common Core Math (JK!)
- Use the link to send payment via PayPal*
*You do not need a PayPal account, you can just enter a debit or credit card.
CASH:
We will be sending order forms home with blended students or you can print the form posted here at home as well. Please send CASH in a sealed envelope with along with your order form, and labeled CASCON WATERSIDE FUNDRAISER

I spent yesterday afternoon in Northeast Queens, distributing more than 10,000 masks to civic groups and individuals in my district. I also took some time to check in on some small businesses to see how the PPP program and EIDL worked as New York City has entered Phase One of reopening. It was great to reconnect with my old friends at Tony's Beechhurst Deli Inc and Cascon Baking Company, in Whitestone.

A special thanks also to Voss Water for donating cases of water to us this week.

I have not had Cascon cheesecake in YEARS. I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop by. The cheesecake is just as delicious as I recall from years ago! I bought a Chocolate Chip Cheesecake ... highly recommend!. AND I discovered their Canoli rainbow cookies (never heard of them before!)...They are sooooo good!!! ๐๐
