Hi, My name is Raquel Morales and I'm a stay at home mom of two beautiful children. While watching the show Cake Boss I was inspired by the art and designs and decided to give it a try. I was fortunate to have a talented friend who patiently walked me through my first cake and on September 18, 2010 my dream was born. es. The passion for cakes began to grow with every creation. It took several months before my hobby continued into Heavenly Delights by Raquel. The smiles my cakes bring to a person has motivated me to continue making people happy, making a happier me.

In Sept 2010 Heavenly Delights by Raquel started out as a hobby and soon turned into a home buisness. Last summer in the process of finally incorporating my buisness I decided to make Heavenly Delights By Raquel Evolved once more and incorporate my whole vision which led me to change my name. I have chosen to just change my name but continue this page to still be able to show case the work I did in my hobby stage. So in my about will have some mention of Heavenly Delights but my cake work will be under Virtuous Delights Inc. However Heavenly Delights By Raquel will be the name used to take on pastry orders such as pies, tarts cookies etc.

SO I've been M.I.A. for a very long time. I took care of my health first and now im focusing on college to strengthen my skills. But today I wanted to come out of my hiatus to share with everyone my latest accomplishment. I was told 2 1/2 Weeks ago I was going to competition today. I've done cakes in the past but being judge by professionals is a whole different ball game. TODAY I WAS PART OF MY FIRST OF MANY ACF COMPETITION'S AND I RECIEVED MY FIRST MEDAL AND I SCORED A SILVER! Im beyond excited! And wanted to share with everyone!

BTW HEAVENLY DELIGHTS BY RAQUEL IS TRANSITIONING TO VIRTUOUS DELIGHTS INC.

Reason for the transition is that Virtuous Delights Inc will cover more than just cakes to cater towards weddings and sweet sixteens. Heavenly Delights will only cover pastries (Pies, Tarts, cookies) while all my cakes will be under Virtuous Delights Inc.

Hey! It's been a very long time since I've addressed you guys! I've been dealing with my health and really focus on it! Last you heard from I told you that I was having eye issues. I am still dealing with my eyes but I finally found a specialist who actually found the source of my inflammation that's attacking my eyes! After 6 yrs! Well I'm on the meds and should be having my final surgery sometime in October. I've also been dealing with my weight issue as well and what's to share my progress! Hoping to restart HEAVENLY DELIGHTS in 2016 thank you to my clients who have given me continue support!

I'm sorry to announce but I still have put my cake business on hold until my vision is corrected. I started to see much improvements after surgery what my vision has taken a turn for the worse . I need to have another procedure done but it will take several weeks before they can schedule it so they can make sure my eye heals from the first two surgeries. It's frustrating and have a passion and have to put it on hold but I have to put my health first. Those orders I had to cancel will get a voucher to be used once I heal. Any deposits will be returned please keep me in prayer thank you

Starting up Heavenly Delights again! Surgery went well! Had to take a long break to heal but I'm back and ready for the creativity to begin. I'm also opening my Etsy store for my other craft stuff I've done on my down time! Get ready to see some exciting new things!

Was taught today how to make Dominican cake since that type of cake is popular here in NYC. Can't wait to be back in the game in just a few more weeks. Both Eyes are healing well thank god! Can't wait to start up again so many things I have in mind starting with a special project next month!

Can't wait to get back to normal and begin taking orders again its been hard for the past few months but my health has to come first. Been focusing on getting my licenses and certificates in making my buisness official so thou you don't see much activity on this page I am working in the back scenes to come back better than ever. Just need to get thru today's surgery!
