I was raised in the NYC public school system and know first hand what access to quality arts education can do for a kid. I also know how hard it is to come by these resources, especially when everyone's looking to cut the education budget - arts are always first on the chopping block.

That's why I'm trying to raise money for Opening Act, a non-profit that is dedicated to amplifying the voices of young Black and Brown storytellers across NYC public. Every little bit counts, even if it's just the $5 you might spend on your morning coffee.

Every person that donates will be entered into a drawing to win a mini cake like the one shown. Delivery is included within 10 miles of New Hyde Park, NY. The winner will be selected on October 15.

I know there are a lot of worthwhile causes out there, but any support you can show would be so appreciated. Stay safe and well, everyone!!
