• 3 cloves garlic (mashed) or powder garlic
• 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 1 fresh tomato (diced)
• 1 tsp oregano
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1 tbsp sazón líquido or 1 packet sazón
• 1 tbsp sofrito (optional but recommended)
• ½ cup tomato sauce
• 1–1½ cups water
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• Cilantro (for garnish)
• Salt & black pepper to taste
