Putting all hierarchal Church politics aside, what ultimately matters here is that these two children received the Mystery of Holy Baptism and were brought to Christ. There should be no controversy about this nor any objection to it (as, sadly, there is in Greece).

The couple’s children, Alexios and Eleni, were baptized by His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America at the Panagia Faneromeni Church in the southern Athenian suburb of Vouliagmeni.

God bless the Greek Orthodox Archbishop of America for His Eminence's gesture of charity and Love. AXIOS! AXIOS! AXIOS!

Evanggelos Bousis and Peter Dundas became the first gay couple to hold a Greek Orthodox Baptism for their children in Greece.

OUR NATIONAL 9/11 SHRINE AT WTC GROUND ZERO IS TO BE CONSECRATED ON JULY 4th

The Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and National Shrine at the World Trade Center will be Consecrated on the 4th of July. By connecting the Consecration to Independence Day, the Shrine is forever bound to what it means to be American; tolerant of different beliefs and respectful of other faith traditions, while committed to a place for faith in the public square. The re-building of this church was an act of faith - faith in God and in the American vision of religious liberty.

This pertains to our Roman Catholic brethren who are presently subject to the modernist Novus Ordo (New Rite) celebration of Mass by Pope Francis. Traditionalist Catholics and Orthodox Christians are not under the yoke of his arbitrary rule and continue celebrating the ancient Divine Liturgies of the Roman Rite.
