در اینجا با پدیده ای رو به رو هستیم به اسم Herd mentality ، یعنی چی؟ Herd mentalityیعنی تمایل افراد به پیروی از رفتار یا باور جمع، حتی بدون بررسی و فکر مستقل.
در این حالت، تصمیمها بیشتر از روی فشار اجتماعی و ترس از متفاوت بودن گرفته میشن، نه بر اساس منطق یا تحقیق.از این خانم پرسیده میشه که دو تا دلیل بگو که چرا ترامپ رو دوست نداری؟ و ایشون میگه چون نژادپرسته و پشت سری هاش تاییدش میکنن. و خوب ذوق میکنه. حالا میگه برام معنی نژادپرست رو بگو، و اینجاست که دختره رو گیر میندازه. و بقیه ی ماجرا. حالا سوال اینجاست؛ چرا ما بدون تحقیق فقط فالوور هستیم و یه بار از خودمون نمیپرسیم: معنیش چیه؟ چه تعریفی داره؟ حالا در هر زمینه ای. مثل بعضی از کامنت ها که در مورد شیرینی عبادی میخونیم (اینو الان در این بحبحه ی زمانی خیلی مراقب باشید سوار موجنشید.) یا مخالفین شاهزاده، یا مخالفین جنگ. مثلن ما الان یه خرد جمعی داریم که همه موافق براندازی ج ا هستیم و بینهایت دلیل براش داریم ولی وقتی از مخالفین شاهزاده میپرسی چرا؟ مردمک چشمشون گشاد میشه. «هوشیار باشید» #جاویدشاه

Here we’re dealing with a phenomenon called “Herd mentality”. What does that mean? It’s the tendency of people to follow the behavior or beliefs of a group, even without independent thinking or verification.
In this state, decisions are driven more by social pressure and the fear of being different than by logic or research.
A woman is asked to give two reasons why she dislikes Donald Trump. She says, “Because he’s racist,” and others quickly agree with her—and she feels validated. But then she’s asked, “What does ‘racist’ actually mean?” That’s where she gets stuck. And the rest of the story follows from there.
So here’s the real question: why do we follow blindly without doing our own research? Why don’t we pause and ask ourselves: What does this actually mean? What’s the definition?—in any context.
You see the same pattern in different areas—like certain comments people make about Shirin Ebadi, or critics of Reza Pahlavi, or even opponents of war. For example, right now there’s a broad collective agreement among many people that the Islamic Republic should be overthrown—and there are countless reasons for that. But when you ask some opponents of Reza Pahlavi “why?”, they suddenly have no clear answer.
