Hey!
BIG announcement! The past few months I have been working hard as a Sous Chef at an amazing catering company in metro Detroit! It’s been a lot of hard work but I have been getting great experience. Being a Sous is a lot of responsibility and I have been loving it. Lots of great things have been happening and things are just getting started! 👏🏼👩🏼‍🍳🔥

Saying 2023 was amazing would be an understatement. I met so many awesome people and learned so much from friends, mentors and from the chefs all around me. I’m thankful for the opportunities and happy for the growth that I’ve seen in myself. Graduating from such a fantastic school and working in two amazing kitchens taught me more than I could have imagined! 2024 is my year to go to work and grow even more. Trying to pick a few pictures to encapsulate this year was tough but these are some of my favorites that I’ve made or experienced. Big things are coming, here’s to 2024!🥂👩🏼‍🍳🍽️

Hey guys! Big update…

I can officially say that I am done with culinary school!! This journey was crazy and exciting and it was just the beginning. I started my externship working at an incredible restaurant, Maialino, but due to unforeseen circumstances the restaurant had to close its doors so I had to relocate to a different restaurant. I’m currently working at an amazing restaurant serving some incredible food. I loved every minute of school and am happy to be moving into bigger things!

Update on school!! So fun looking through all my old pics from the past 2 months. School has been so fun and we just finished the first part of our pastry/baking module today. I can definitely say I’m not the best pastry chef but it has been fun to try new recipes and techniques. Enjoy all these fun food pics 🫶🏼

It has been a long time since I’ve made a post on this account! For those of you who follow me on my instagram or my personal facebook this isn’t news but for those of you who don’t, I’m in culinary school!! This past month has been filled with new experiences and lots of fun. We just completed Module 1 and this week we finished working with pork and lamb just before our second practical on Thursday. Made some different side dishes that went well with our different types of meats that we broke down and cooked throughout the week. Ended the week off with the start of module two and working with veal! We started roasting the bones for stocks and other recipes that we will be starting Monday, we even cooked up some kidney to try and that was tough but now I can say I’ve tried it! (wasn’t as horrible as I was expecting haha) We said goodbye to our module one chef instructor but can’t wait to see who our new chef will be! I will try and be more active on this account but here’s a big dump of pics from the past month in school.

Happy Wednesday!

I’ve been busy these past couple weeks making some really fun boards for orders and parties! I made the staff at Mendelson Kornblum Orthopedic and Spine Specialists three boards, sent from Wendy Rubin Davis and two boards for some friends for the derby! Hope everyone is having a great week!
