Fondant vs Buttercream 🎂
Which one is right for YOUR cake?

✨ Fondant
Pros:
✔️ Super smooth & polished look
✔️ Best for sharp edges & detailed designs
✔️ Holds up well in warm venues

Cons:
✖️ Not everyone loves the taste
✖️ Less soft compared to buttercream

✨ Buttercream
Pros:
✔️ Light, creamy & delicious
✔️ Perfect for textured, rustic & modern cakes
✔️ Loved by most guests

Cons:
✖️ Can melt in heat
✖️ Less sharp details than fondant

💡 Pro tip: Many of my wedding cakes use the best of both — buttercream for taste + fondant accents for a clean finish 😉
