I was up early for the fire inspection in the restaurant today. Mornings are a chef's inspiration hours. When everything is quiet, I can hear the recipes in my conscience. This is a grapefruit & green pepper salad with a Blueberry & roasted jalapeño balsamic vinaigrette. A little pistachio and chia and some sage for good measure. Also a good time to blast this new and record! 🔥👩‍🍳🎶🎼🎵🎧🎤.

It rarely works out when I nail it on the first try but here it is!!! This Asian fusion soup is a miso and chicken stock base with sweet potato glass noodles, shrimp balls, enoki mushrooms, Napa cabbage, nori, pork dumpling meat balls (just the filling). For garnish I gave it some sabmbal chili paste and green onions! Such a satisfying soup on a winter day! thanks for the assist with the mushrooms. I absolutely loved them!!

I have had the most fun on my days off this week! Finally got to celebrate Father's Day with my hubby! Who loves a good filet mignon? Added was a balsamic, sour cherry, red wine reduction! It was 🤤🤤🤤🤤 Also some red mashed potatoes and wok seared grey beans! Paired with 2018 Acclaimed Cabernet 🍷🍷
