We are proud to be a q***r woman & trans-owned business. Ou bakery is open Weds-Sun from 7am-4pm, where we have pastries, desserts, lunch options, and more.

Little Loaf Bakeshop is an all-vegan bakery that delivers daily moments of joy and connection through creative, fun, high-quality vegan pastries and other treats. Little Loaf Bakeshop is an all vegan bakery that provides little moments of joy through creative, fun, high-quality baked goods—with a particular focus on viennoiserie. You can also find us at farmers markets across the Hudson Valley! We're proud to be an LGBTQ+ owned business, and we work hard to make this a safe and warm environment for our community. Oh, and as for the name Little Loaf...it's based on our cats! Because often they look like loaves of bread. :)

Hi everyone! It’s going to be a blustery day tomorrow (with maybe some torrential rain??) so we are not going to be at the beacon farmers market.

We have multiple sets of heavy weights but even that is sometimes not strong enough for the wind gusts in Beacon during a storm and no one likes a flying tent 🌬️ ⛺️

We will however still be open in our cozy bakery, which is protected from the elements (though there are different seasons in the bakery for our team - tropical in dish, desert in the kitchen and by the ovens, cave in the basement 😆)

September truly is the best month for apples! So the best month, naturally, for us to bring back our caramel apple crumb danish. The apples we use come from Liberty Orchards just down the way in Highland and we look forward to Mark dropping them off every year!

You can find them at our New Paltz bakery this weekend, and at egg (we didn’t put these ones on pre-order, they’re a special first come first serve danish so get there early!). FYI to our Beacon Farmers' Market friends, we won’t be at the market tomorrow since we’re at the festival, but we will bring them in abundance next weekend. 🍎 🥐

Curry Eggplant Danish special is available this weekend at our cafe & at Beacon Farmers' Market & at Poughkeepsie Farm Project 🍆
This danish had a mild spicy but sweet curry flavor! Made with local eggplant and housemade coconut madras curry then topped with chili crisp and cilantro. 🌿

Here’s where to find us this weekend!

Will be back at the Poughkeepsie farm project on Saturday, and the Beacon Farmers Market on Sunday.

The specials this weekend are our Calabrian chili hummus & cherry tomato danish, Japanese eggplant & madras curry danish (pictured), pumpkin cheesecake danish, GF pumpkin spice cookie, and our raspberry pistachio roll!

Not to be biased, but this is probably the best season for pastries since we get to enjoy both the end of summer and fall flavors. 🍅 🍆 🎃 (sorry about the eggplant but it actually means eggplant)

Note: We’re not doing pre-orders this week while we work out some system/administrative things on our side, but rest assured that we will be bringing plenty to both markets!
