These are delicious 😋 try them next time you have a pound or two of ground lamb!
🐑 Ranch-Style Ground Lamb Sliders
Yields: 8–10 sliders
Prep time: 15 min
Cook time: 10–12 min
---
Ingredients
For the sliders:
1 lb ground lamb (pasture-raised if you’ve got it 😉)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp dried oregano (optional but adds a nice earthy kick)
1–2 tsp Worcestershire sauce or balsamic vinegar for depth
1 tbsp olive oil or butter, for searing
For serving:
8–10 slider buns (or Hawaiian rolls if you want a little sweetness)
Cheese (feta, provolone, or white cheddar all work beautifully)
Toppings:
Caramelized onions
Fresh spinach or arugula
Roasted red peppers or tomato slices
Ranch or garlic aioli
---
Instructions
1. Mix the meat:
In a medium bowl, combine lamb, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, and Worcestershire. Mix lightly with your hands — don’t overwork it.
2. Form patties:
Divide into 8–10 equal portions and shape into small patties (about 2 inches wide). Press a little dimple in the center of each so they cook evenly.
3. Sear:
Heat a cast-iron skillet or griddle over medium-high. Add oil or butter and sear patties 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp ~160°F).
4. Cheese it:
Add cheese slices in the last minute of cooking, cover the pan to melt.
5. Assemble:
Toast your slider buns (trust me — it’s worth the extra 2 minutes), then layer with aioli, greens, lamb patty, onions, and any extras you like.

Optional twist:
Mix 2 tbsp crumbled feta and a handful of chopped mint or parsley right into the lamb before cooking for a Mediterranean spin. Pairs great with a lemon-garlic yogurt sauce.
