💗 A BIG thank you to an amazing new customer!
Our 20 goodie trays were delivered this morning, and while we're incredibly thankful for the order, we're probably even more thankful for everything this experience taught us.
This order gave us a serious crash course in:
🍪 Managing expectations — especially my own expectations of what I can physically accomplish in a certain amount of time.
🏠 Working in a residential kitchen — our little kitchen has limits, and 20 trays will definitely help you find every single one of them. 😂
🥨 Large-batch baking — we learned very quickly that having multiple pans is pretty important when you're working with a small GE oven!
📦 Packaging — we thought the deli-style trays would be the perfect fit, but once everything was assembled, they just didn't feel like Bun & the Oven. We'll be exploring some different options for future orders that better reflect the look and feel we want to create.
And honestly, that's one of our favorite things about this little business.
We're learning. We're experimenting. We're occasionally realizing, "Well... THAT didn't go quite how we pictured it." 😂
But we're thrilled to be able to share even the imperfect parts with you.
