I love baking, but I’ll always be a teacher first! With that said, I’m sharing my new fave EASY “Christmas” (only bc it’s red) Cookie! I call them “Red Whips.”

1 box Red Velvet Cake Mix
1 Tub Cool Whip
1 Egg

Mix, spoon into balls, drop & roll in powdered sugar, bake for 12 mins at 350°. DELICIOUS and so super simple!

Today was… a day. I’m grateful for baking on “those days.” 👩🏼‍🍳🍪

Bakin’ by Lakyn takes on WEDDING CAKES. I really cannot explain what a joy it was to make the cakes for our wedding reception. I had never even made a tier cake in my life 6 months ago and to have made ours was honestly so exciting! I ran out of time or I’d have done way more flowers on mine and way more strawberries on Kyle’s, but with 4 dozen cookies done also, it was a BUSY week!

I can’t wait to explore this area of baking so much more. Several guests asked where the cakes cake from and I could not have been prouder to say I made them right there in our home! We are still eating on them and when I say we, I mean me. 😅😍🍰
