I want to remind everyone and invite you all to the bakery tomorrow, Saturday, August 25. We will be open for our last day of business. All of your favorite staff will be here to say goodbye throughout the day and we will have all the cupcakes and cannolies you could desire. Please come downtown for a final farewell. We are still hoping to find someone to take over our business and will keep you posted on this. Thank you for all your support and kind words.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!

With a saddened heart, we are sending this news out to all our valued customers. Due to ongoing family and health issues, we are being forced to close our beloved bakery. We are hoping to hand the business over to new management. More to come on that.
HOWEVER.....WE WILL BE OPEN THIS(SATURDAY, AUGUST 25, 2012, 10AM-WE RUN OUT OF CAKES! )FOR A FINAL GOODBYE! PLEASE JOIN US FOR OUR FINAL CUPCAKE AND CANNOLI PRODUCTION. WE WILL HAVE ALL OUR VALUED STAFF THERE TO SAY GOODBYE. IT WILL BE THE SADDEST DAY FOR ME BUT SEEING YOU ALL WILL MAKE IT SO MUCH BETTER.

If the turnover does not work out we are considering doing a strictly online business for special orders. We will keep you updated as things progress.

Again, we need to apologize to our friends. Our family situation has not been resolved, and we can't step away from it to open our bakery. We hope that everyone can bear with us until tomorrow when we can get back to the shop and get baking again. We expect to be open for a full day of business tomorrow starting at 10 am.

We apologize to all of our friends and valued customers, but unfortunately we are going to have to be closed again today due to a family situation. We're back from our honeymoon in Daytona and Orlando and ready to see all of our LC&C friends here on Main Street. We opened our doors this afternoon and will be here til 9 tonight and from 10-9pm tomorrow night. This weekend, we're running our "Fab Five" flavors as well as some best-sellers, the Red Velvet and Jake's Cookie Cupcake, a few colors of the Rainbow Cupcake, and for a summery treat, the coconut and pineapple Island Boy. One more thing...don't forget about tomorrow night's second installment of the Downtown Nashua Music festival...look for some "90's Night" deals to be had at LC&C

Saturday afternoon and Downtown Nashua is ready to rock with the Country Musicfest North open-air concert on Temple Street, just half a block from our front door. We've got the Kenny, Darius, Tim, and lots of other country music already playing in here, got our cowboy hats on, and are ready to party with the three bands scheduled to play and all the folks looking to come Downtown for a fun show (the first band hits the stage at 4, but people are already gathering and the beer tent is getting ready to open up soon).

We've also got 12 flavors today, including our "Fab 5" and our almost-every-weekend specials, the Jake's Cookie Cake and Nothin' Like Red Velvet. To go with those, we've made our Sweet Strawberry Shortcake, Perfectly Pumpkin, and three of our adult-themed "After Dark" Series cakes, the Guinness Pub Cake, the Irish Mudslide, and the Tennessean, which is dedicated to the country music superstar Kenny Chesney. So if you're looking for something fun and full of energy to do today, come to Main Street Nashua, catch some of NH's best country bands, and step into some cooler confines to enjoy some fresh, delicious cupcakes on this beautiful summer Saturday! Make sure you catch our boy Jake out on the street...he'll be handing out coupons for 'cakes and cannolies!!!

It's Thursday night here in Downtown Nashua, and what a night it is! The sun is cresting over the buildings, there's a soft warm breeze blowing down Main St, and we have a singer/guitarist outside on the sidewalk playing all kinds of acoustic songs from John Mellencamp to Van Morrison and requests for just about anything you want to hear. The cupcakes have been flying off the shelves, and with still two and a half hours left to be open, we've got only 36 'cakes left in the case! So if you're near Downtown Nashua, come on in for a tasty Grandma's Cannoli Cupcake while you relax to a few cool tunes!

Our flavors for this week, 6/28-6/30, will be our fab five. As well, we will have an old seasonal favorite, Perfectly Pumpkin. We are offering Red Velvet almost every week because the customers love that one. We are also offering one of our After Dark Series: The Tennessean. We will have another very popular flavor this week: Sweet Strawberry Shortcake. Come on Downtown and try some great cupcakes and Cannolies!!

An update about our LC&C family.. Vinny and I are getting married in Florida on July 9th! Taking the family with us, including most of the LC&C staff. So we will be closed from July 6, 2012 thru July 18, 2012. We will be re-opening on July 19, 2012. During the time we are gone, we have a wonderful baker that is available to fill special orders for all our customers. To place a special order during the time we are gone, just send the request to the email: [email protected]. Thank you all so much for being fans and we will see you after the wedding:)

We have so many wonderful flavors this week. Some that will really cool you off in this HOT summer weather, such as the Kicked-Up Limeade and the S'mores. We are also featuring: Carrot Craze, Guinness Pubcake, Red Velvet, Jake's Cookie Cupcake and a twist on Jake's (Kerry Berry's Cookie Cupcake) filled with the berry blast Oreos. We have new hours for the Summer of 2012. In order to accommodate the demands of a hopping downtown weekend crowd, we will be staying open late on Thurs, Friday and Saturday night. These are our new hours: Sun-Weds CLOSED. Thurs-Saturday 10a-9p. We will also be checking voicemail and email daily in order to still accommodate all special orders.

This week, 5/21-5/27, we are featuring a new cupcake: Sweet Strawberry Shortcake! This is a mild flavored vanilla cupcake with a chunk of strawberry baked in the middle of the cake, topped with fresh whipped cream and another chunk of strawberry. We are also featuring Nothin' Like Red Velvet, Jake's Cookie Cupcake and the May Flower. Our cakes are nicely decorated for Memorial Day and we will be open for the Parade on Monday! This week, 5/7-5/13, we are celebrating Mother's Day at LC&C. What says I love you and appreciate all you do better than a chocolate covered strawberry CUPCAKES! A nice bottle of champagne with go nicely with that! we are also offering the Banana Cream Pie and the Cindy's So Dark Chocolate by customer demand. Along with our traditional 5 Everyday flavors, Nothin Like Red Velvet has been making a regular appearance due to popular demand. It may become number 6 Everyday flavor! Come on down and get a treat for that special lady in your life....She will appreciate it. Take it from a mother of 3. I know what I am talking about!

Introducing "Boston's Best" (a white chocolate pound cake with whole raspberries in the center, topped with white chocolate buttercream and a hand-made Red Sox B). We are also featuring some other favorites: Jake's Cookie Cupcake, "Wicked" Lemon, and Emily's Candy Explosion. Don't forget about the top 5 we have everyday. This week, 4/17-4/21, we are featuring 2 new flavors and 1 old favorite! We now have the Cup O' Joe (mocha cupcake filled with coffee cream and topped with coffee buttercream.) This new cupcake features our King David Coffee as a background for this flavor profile. The English Toffee is a butterscotch infused cupcake with cream cheese frosting and topped with Heath Bar chips. We also have Nothin' Like Red Velvet and our 5 everday flavors!
