Hey there! It’s been some time! We are happy to announce an end of the summer workshop. It will include a cookout, sunset and stars.
Venture to the coast of Rhode Island with us for a night of food, beverage, sunset and stars. We will be meeting in the main parking area to first gather, eat and chat.
Limited food and drink will be provided, but please feel free to bring additional food or drinks.
Followed by sunset we will begin the hands on learning session for capturing the stars. Covering setup, focus, composition, settings and more. Please bring a headlamp with a red light for selection. This will ensure we reduce light pollution and help our eyes adjust to the dark. Take precaution to your surroundings at this location as there is technical terrain and fall hazards. If you notice someone does not have sufficient lighting for their walking path, take a second and light the way for them. This workshop is open to all levels of experience, whether you are brand new or looking to refine your skills. Join us Friday August 29th, 2025 from 5:00PM to 1:00AM at Beavertail State Park in Jamestown, Rhode Island. Admission is $30 per person. See you there!
