Gilles Girls Bakery is doing a pop-up for Meadowlark community garage sales!

We’ll be out on flamingo drive selling some sourdough chocolate chip cookies during our neighborhood garage sales 🙂 stop by for some cookies and explore what everyone else has too! Will be there 9-12pm tomorrow or until we sell out!

$5/4-pack. Sourdough, cold proofed 24-hrs.

Hi everyone! I loved seeing so many people at the market yesterday and sharing my love of baking with you all ♥️
I want to let everyone know that for the summer at least, I will be putting a pause on the bakery. I’ve been having issues with some of my proofing and lately it’s just more frustrating and less fun. Also, my girls are all on summer break and I want to be on summer break, sipping my coffee, too! Thank you so much for the love and support 💕

We will be doing a pop-up still during Meadowlark subdivision garage sales on 6/6 (garage sales running 6/4-6/7). Swing out to flamingo drive and meet all the girls themselves selling some cookies 🍪

Getting ready for Brooklyn’s Art in the Park tonight! We will be at Weather wax park in Brooklyn 5-8pm this evening.

Bagel Buddies will be the only kind of bagels making an appearance this evening 😅 - I’ve been having proofing issues with bagels. But we will have sourdough granola, sourdough chocolate chip cookies, and petite scone flights!! 😋

I’ll only be bringing a small amount of sourdough loaves with me to the event and focusing more on my small-grabs menu. So, if you want a sourdough loaf (full size bagels, or monkey bread) on Thursday, message me now to reserve yours!

Also, feel free to order anything from regular special order menu for pick up at the farmer’s market! (Special orders must be placed by Wednesday morning (5/27) for Art in the Park pick up!)

We will have Sourdough Granola this Thursday at Art in the Park! This granola is dairy free, made with sourdough discard, coconut oil, and a blend of seeds, nuts, coconut chips, and honey 😋 seriously so good with yogurt or used as cereal in milk 🥛

Sourdough Granola- coconut almond flavor. $7/5 oz bag at Art in the Park (Thursday 5-9 in Brooklyn Weatherwax park).
OR special order an entire pan (approx 25 oz) for $25. 1/2 pan (12.5 oz) for $15.

Less than one week away!!

Gilles Girls Bakery will be bringing sourdough granola, petite scone flights, mini sourdough bagel flights, and of course sourdough chocolate chip cookies 🍪

It's now less than one week until the first Brooklyn's Art in the Park event on Thursday, May 28! We're highlighting our market vendors, artists, entertainment and food trucks all week before the event, which goes from 5-9 p.m. in Weatherwax Park.

When you come to the event, be sure to check out Evelyn's Bowtique, a unique local vendor that makes hair bows, and Storybook Blooms for some whimsical floral arrangements!
