WOW. There are seriously no words to describe this weekend. Record-breaking, overwhelming in the best way, and just surreal. Brendan and I kept looking at each other all weekend completely in shock.
First, a huge thank you to Jess & Steve for putting on this incredible market for the 10th year in a row. I’m still amazed by the amount of people who came out and all the work that goes into organizing something this big. It was truly incredible to be part of.
This week’s numbers honestly feel unreal to me:
• 275 sourdough loaves
• 160+ cinnamon rolls
• 100 oreos
• 130 cookies
• 120 muffins
• 80 doughnuts
Seeing something that started as such a small dream grow into this is something I’ll never take for granted. Meeting so many new vendor friends was a highlight of our weekend but getting to be near our good friends Buckin’ Good Antler Chews was a cherry on top to the weekend & made it so much fun.
Thank you to my mom JoAnn Banowetz Jacobs for coming Friday night to help set up and sell while Brendan stayed home baking through the night to get everything ready for Saturday. Your help means more than you know, and I couldn’t have done it without you.
And most importantly, thank you to my fiancé Brendan Swanson. He worked beside me all week long on barely any sleep, learning everything from mixing dough to stretch-and-folds to baking hundreds of loaves. There is absolutely no way I could do any of this without him. So much of what makes Golden Boys possible happens behind the scenes, and he is a huge part of that. I’m beyond grateful for everything he does to help make this dream possible.
And finally — THANK YOU to every single one of our customers and supporters. Whether you shared a post, told a friend about us, stopped by our booth, or bought something from us this weekend… thank you. Every bit of support means the world to us, and none of this would exist without all of you. We appreciate you more than we can fully put into words. 🤍🖤
