The Mediterranean Loaf is rapidly becoming my favorite. Sun-dried tomatoes, olives, feta cheese, and a hint of Mediterranean spices, this bread is a great compliment to pasta dishes or just as snack. Message me if you’d like to try it, $10 a loaf.

Meet the starter, Bread Pitt. Almost a year old, the starter is now prerry established and predictable. After several frustrating tries (including purchasing some dried starter) I finally just decided to take my time and trust the process. Bread Pitt is just flour and water, fed and cared for. I mainly used unbleached all purpose flour, but every now and then I threw in a little whole wheat flour. The yeast exists naturally in the flour and the environment, and with enough time a patience, sourdough starter is born.
