Finally got to check off making pasta noodles earlier this week! ✅
They were sooo easy to make (with the help of a pasta maker attachment).
I can’t believe I haven’t made them before.

When your kids love water kefir just as much as you do, you work on having a system so that there’s always some in the fridge 😝

Jar 1- first ferment (just water, sugar, kefir grains
Jar 2- second ferment (this jar has mulberries from our yard last year)
Jar 3- refrigerated and ready to drink (almost gone)!Strawberries and blueberries added

We’re just getting into water kefir and experimenting with different flavors. Lime will be next! 🍋‍🟩

Had fun experimenting with “weeds” in our yard today.
Picked common blue violets and dandelion to make a syrup. Excited to see how it turns out!
If nothing else it made a beautiful blue.

We also have a bunch of henbit we hope to try out next.

Check out the new mill and grain setup 😍

We’re freshening things up over here and scored this cabinet that was just perfect for storing the grain dispensers AND the mill. Still deciding on what color to paint it and how to set up cooling racks for those big bake days.

2026 is here and we’re trying out some new things.

Here’s a few things we hope to offer in the new year:
🍞 Bread on a subscription service
👄 Lip balm handmade with ingredients you know
🧼 Soaps! We’re working on finishing up processing the luffas we grew so there may be a limited supply of luffas or luffa soap available
🌿 We’ll be experimenting some more in the garden this spring with different herbs and other plants to possibly bring fresh or dried herbs for teas, cooking, or tinctures!

We still offer mixes and freshly milled flour (FMF) if you’ve been wanting to experiment with FMF on your own! 🧇 🥞 🍕 🍪 🧁
