Why I started baking bread at home:

In 2024 I started to read the ingredients on all the items I purchased for our family to consume.
I was shocked and saddened to see all of the preservatives placed in our foods, including something as simple as a loaf of bread.

With many changes to our grocery hauls and some experimenting in the kitchen I have mastered the craft of baking our own bread for our family.

The bread I bake ingredients: Unbleached flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
The standard loaf purchased at the store ingredients (pictured).

Not only do we know what we are putting into our bodies but the taste is so much better!
