Taking care of our boy today. Just chilling. He had an emergency vet visit yesterday and he’s resting. He’s going to be fine. Still nosy and needs to know what is going on.

Thought you might like to see an update on Philip Barcelona’s Christmas Cactus. It’s gorgeous and turning out just beautiful. It’s a UFO for him and he now has two halves and one seam left to sew. Philip made great progress on his quilt at a fabulous retreat at Close to Home this past weekend. I can’t wait to see his beautiful quilt all finished and bound. Quiltworx.com

We have been asked to share a link to a quilt designer’s website. She recently lost her 8 year old son to pediatric cancer. We know how heartbreaking and devastating this is for a family. If you are able to purchase a pdf pattern or two, it would be very helpful and appreciated. It’s a difficult time for Jen to run her business.

“It is with a heavy heart that I share that one of our members, Jen of Slightly Biased Quilts, lost her son on Friday to Pediatric Cancer. Just two days after he turned 8.
We all know that one of the hardest parts of being an entrepreneur is work/life balance. I can only imagine how impossible balance becomes when a child is ill.
One of the incredible things about our quilty community is our support for one another. Perhaps we can help Jen with some marketing this month?
