We hatched out 5 turkey poults yesterday, from eggs my friend gave me. ðŸĪ—

Better than pulling my own hair out too, I guess. ðŸĪŠ

We were all young and irresponsible once. 😅

This is my first time hatching turkeys! I candled the eggs yesterday. Today is day 18. Hatch day should be on Tuesday, June 9th. I timed it out so I would be home! My beautiful neighbor, Brianna, has had her incubators hopping lately and she sent these my way. She is the Turkey Queen! She has a cool assortment of heritage breed turkeys, ducks and some chickens too. I think these are Bourbon Reds, Blue Slate and mixed. I had a pair of Bourbon Reds maybe 10 years ago. They were beautiful birds, so smart and friendly. It's always exciting to have something hatching. I never get over how cool it is. 😃

My kids will, for sure. 😅

The babies are 3 weeks old and starting to eat hay and goat pellets with their mamas.

Superfetation, a rare double pregnancy in goats.

It's killer bunny season. So much barking. 😅

Another round of snow, but at least it's warmer now and no wind. This is good snow for sledding or building snowmen. Way easier to walk on than the sheet of ice we had.
