There has been a change to our calendar, I was hoping I’d feel better, but this cold has gotten the best of me; even with the weather well below the norm of what we are used to I was willing to take a chance but unfortunately I’m not feeling well. I hope y’all will understand. I was really looking forward to being apart of your Christmas breakfast or dinner! I will say that I always put my trust in the Lord and it took me all day to make this decision.

I will work on January calendar….it’s also my birthday month 🥰 so I’m not certain of the actual plans yet 😇😍.

Good morning! Happy Sunday! Today was a perfect morning for my cafe de olla. This here is my serving, in other words serving for one 😎. I should have kept it in the original jarrón 🤦🏽‍♀️ and drank with a straw. The aroma is amazing once all the ingredients are combined.

It’s a busy Sunday for AslanSweets, getting all the materials needed for the upcoming cookie sale and cookie activity, figuring out how many coco bursts to prepare for. Thank you Roshambo Pop-Up Market & Compass Rose Brewery for yet another amazing event. We are beyond grateful for your hospitality and amazing beer!!!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people; a family that specifically came to visit because they wanted to try out our goodies thanks to a posting on Boricuas of NC they found us!!

A return customer from Millstone Apple Orchard who has been following my calendar, totally made me feel special, especially since they have dietary restrictions, she still made the sacrifice and bought extra bread to give away, apparently, our sweet bread has a similarity to a Portuguese bread.

Disney fan!!! Yay!!! This was awesome, we got to talk about Disney which is right up my alley, makes me feel very childish...loved it!!!

Mambo Dinamico Dancer from Carmen's Cuban Cafe!!! I felt like I was talking to a celebrity!!

I was asked to create a cake for a special person that just became a citizen of the United States. Congratulations!! 🇺🇸🇨🇴. My only wish is that I would have been able to add all fifty stars but I feel it was better this way than screwing it up and missing stars. This was one of those days where I didn’t allow my migraine to take over 🙏.
