We couldn't wait to bake them, as they were bursting at the seams in their cold proof state. After the first taste, we found it totally amazing - the cheese mixed in perfectly, turning the crust flaky with a cheesey taste, followed by the heat of the habanero, which wasn't overwhelmingly spicy.

I recently had the opportunity to try a habanero sweet bread, courtesy of an acquaintance's recommendation, and was impressed by the delightful interplay of spicy and sweet notes, along with its soft and buttery texture. The proposal to integrate this unique flavor combination into my sourdough bread seemed intriguing, and I am eager to test a Cheddar and Habanero bread recipe. I will share the results once the experiment is complete.
