Good morning, everyone!

I wanted to hop on and share a quick update. Many (if not all) of you found Thistle & Loaf through What's Up Moore 2.0. As of around 5:00 a.m. this morning, I was removed from that group, so you will no longer see my posts shared there. Moving forward, all updates, goodies, and announcements will come directly from this page.

That may mean you see our posts a little less often, so be sure to keep an eye out for fresh-baked treats and upcoming events! If you'd like to stay up to date on the freshest breads, sourdough goodies, and tastiest treats in Moore, consider changing your follow settings to "Highlights" so our posts are more likely to show up in your feed.

I don't want to bring drama into my business, but since some of you may have heard about the recent Tina situation, I do want to say this: at Thistle & Loaf, we believe children should feel safe, valued, and supported in their community. We absolutely believe in teaching respect for others' property and following posted rules, but we also believe our kids deserve kindness, grace, and safe spaces.

Thistle & Loaf was built with family at its heart. We want every child to feel welcomed, loved, and comfortable wherever they go. Our door will always be open, and any kiddo is welcome to stop by for a free popsicle and a book anytime.

As for the community event I mentioned previously, I suspect the original post may have been removed because I was asking for suggestions on where to host it. If needed, we're fully prepared to host it at our home instead.

I've included the original post below for anyone who may have missed it. Thank you all for your continued support of our little bakery—it means more than you know. ❤️

🚨THEYRE HERE🚨

Cookies have officially been left with Darling!

If you have been following along for the last few days you probably saw that we were planning on bringing in Lemon Crinkle cookies. Unfortunately, we were on a bit of a time crunch toward the end of our night and the Lemon cookies did NOT want to be baked all the way through, we spent over an hour trying to get these to fully bake as a 3oz cookie but finally called it quits at 11:30pm. No worries chocolate haters, we are working on testing longer baking times than we had time for last night as well as a possibly new and improved recipe so Lemon Crinkle will be available very soon! Once perfected anyone with a photo of either of the “Thistle & Loaf” signs posted at Coffee Darling can take 50% off their future order of any amount of Lemon Crinkle cookies! We are sorry to disappoint! (Offer only valid for Lemon Crinkle and can only be redeemed 1 time)
